Overweight Outdoorsman Update!

Been a long while since I posted an overweight outdoorsman update.  I decided it was past time to do so.  Sadly, I have been putting on weight again!  Yep, not good.  It really all started back when things with Covid kicked into high gear here in the States.

Covid 19 And Weight Gain

Frankly I am not sure why I started to go off my Keto diet around the time Covid 19 got serious.  I was still working full days as my place of employment and my function there was essential.  Stress eating perhaps?  I don’t know.

I slipped off Keto and started snacking a little more.  Things like specialty coffee drinks, pizza, chips, bread, mead (yes, mead, I discovered mead and I like it a lot) …  I was not eating or drinking them every day, but enough where I went out of Keto.  And then I was eating larger portions than I needed to at meals, and eating later at night too.  Ice cream with the grand kids, Mocha Turtles from Caribou Coffee were a bad thing.

It didn’t help that I was also spending more time sitting on my butt in front of a computer working, at home and at work.

Anyway, I put on 31 pounds.

I was at 224 and am now at 255.  Uggg….

I Need To Loose Weight Or Else…

So I am at the point right now that if I don’t not start taking the weight I gained off I am going to have to go buy some new clothes if I gain another 5 pounds.

Since I am a cheap-ass, I would rather not have to buy new clothes.

So today I am back on a Keto low carb diet.
