Recording Digital Video Outdoors Is Hard!

My ‘frustrated face’. This is what must have been on my mug when I was trying to record video of my trip.

Been back from my BWCA trip for a week now and have been slowly working on a trip post.  Should have it up soon.

I did shoot some video on this trip, something I have never done before.  The idea was to make a video and maybe post on on YouTube to share with the readers here as well as friends and family.  Well, recording digital video is hard!

I started out okay, got some stuff recorded, but as time blended into the second day it just seemed like a real pain in the butt.  I struggled a bit off and on with it, tried to capture some fishing scenes… but it was tedious to me.

So what that means is that there is not much video.  I’ll share some of what I have in my trip post that should be up in a day or two.

Those guys on YouTube who shoot digital video all the time – hats off to you all!  I was going to do it on this trip for fun, can’t even begin to imagine what you guys go through every week.  Yowza…
