The Overweight Outdoorsman – Part 4, Week Three!

This is a just a quick check in.  I wanted to report how much my weigh in was this morning after a long Christmas weekend of trying to NOT overeat.  It was not easy…  three days in row at family functions… lots of food present… lots of good food.  And I ate more than I would have had it not been for the holiday meals being served.

All in all I managed to eat in moderation – and lost a little wight from last week.

Week Three – The Stats So Far

Starting Weight as of 12/7/17:  325 lbs.

Weigh in on 12/28/17:  310.6 lbs.

Weight loss so far over three weeks:  14.4 lbs.

That seems like a lot, and I am sure a lot of it is water weight loss.

Moving Forward

I knew last week was going to be a tough one to loose weight.  I’m glad I didn’t gain any!  As long as I am loosing at least a couple pounds per week I will easily meet my goal for mid May.

My wife and I are looking to join a gym in the next week or two.  Usually this time of year after the New Year Holiday there are signup sales for joining a new gym.  I want to work on my cardio and do a little weight lifting.  That should help keep my easily moving forward towards my initial goal.

So far so good.  Despite a few rough days due to spending time around large amounts of holiday food, my usual days are going well.  Eating healthy, eating less, drinking more water…etc…
