The Overweight Outdoorsman – Part 9, Moving Forward!

It has been two weeks since my last weigh in back on 1/25/18, and since deciding to only report here every two weeks moving forward.

The weight is coming off at a steady clip, in a healthy way, without putting stress on my health.  I am pleased with my progress so far.

The Overweight Outdoorsman – Week Nine!

Starting Weight as of 12/7/17:  325 lbs.

Weigh in on 2/8/18:  298.2 lbs.  I have lost 26.8 lbs since I started nine weeks ago.

My Daily Routine

I eat 5-6 small meals a day, and in all actuality 3 or 4 of those small meals are really small snacks.  I am following close to a paleo type diet and drinking a fair amount of water.  I do have skim milk once in a while and yogurt.  And once a week I have popcorn… I am a huge popcorn fan.

I have not joined a gym yet like I said I was going to do.  Instead I am doing some basic at home exercises and some light weight training with free-weights I have had for almost 15 years.

I really don’t have any food cravings.  Once in a while I dream about a pizza or a massive BBQ feed.  But then I think about how my clothes are starting to feel loose, and how I have a little more spring to my step, and those thoughts go away.
